Water Heater Pricing

Lawson Family Plumbing prides itself on offering some of the most competitive prices on the market today. Below you will find our pricing for the most commonly used water heaters. All prices include basic installation and disposal of the old water heater.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to federal NAECA III compliance, our water heater pricing has changed.  We remain very competitive and continue to follow all federally mandated energy guidelines.  Be careful of any company installing water heaters for less, and be sure they are following the NAECA III April 2015 guidelines.

Natural Gas Water Heaters:

Achiever Professional models with .58 – .66 Energy Factor

30 Gallon = Call for pricing (rare)
40 gallon = $2095.94 including tax
50 gallon = $2161.62 including tax
75 gallon = $3540.09 including tax

Our natural gas water heaters are the higher efficiency models. We always try to use an Achiever Professional model first; however, sometimes, because they are two inches wider, they will not fit. In that instance we must install a standard Achiever model. Don’t be fooled by other companies offering this as an upgrade! The cost should be the same. There is no difference in price for the water heater. Please note that these prices are not for direct vent or power vent water heaters. Please call for pricing on direct vent and power vent water heaters.

Electric Dual Element Water Heaters:

50 gallon = $1954.68 including tax
65 Gallon = *No Longer Available due to NAECA III Federal Regulations*
80 Gallon = *No Longer Available due to NAECA III Federal Regulations*

Pricing for 30-gallon water heaters is not displayed due to the rarity of the water heater. In most cases we can upgrade to the next size up to save you money.

If you happen to have a 65 or 80 gallon electric and need to have it replaced there are other options available. Most of the time if you use a 50 electric in place of a 80 we can make the recovery about the same using a mixing valve. Call us to set up a free estimate.

All of our water heaters carry a full 6-year warranty on tank/parts, as well as a 3-year warranty on labor. You have the option to increase the labor warranty to 5 years and/or increase the tank/parts warranty to 10 years (pricing below). Price reflects the exact upgrade cost through RUUD.

Warranty Options:

10 yrs tank/parts & 3 yrs labor = $284.00
6 yrs tank/parts & 5 yrs labor = $270.00
